Items to check before starting

Before starting up, be sure to check the following points:

1. Whether the transmission system of the sand washing machine is operating normally and the speed is complete.

2. Whether the operation of the sand washer is sensitive and reliable.

3. Whether the sand washing machine lubrication system is complete, the pipeline is complete, and the oil circuit is unobstructed.

4. Whether the electrical system of the sand washing machine is reliable and sensitive in performance.

5. Whether the sliding part of the sand washing machine is operating normally, and whether there is serious pulling, grinding, bruising and crack damage in each sliding part.


Maintenance points in use

1. Always check the oil level of the reducer, the tightness of the V-belt, the degree of gear meshing and lubrication, and whether the connecting fasteners are loose. The machine must be in a normal and stable working state. At the same time, it is necessary to fully lubricate each friction part, and regularly add grease.

2. After the lubricant is used for the first time for one month, the lubricant should be replaced in time. Filtering should be performed when filling. In the choice of lubricant model, the south should choose a higher viscosity lubricant than the north. .

3. The bearing part of the sand washer is a component that is easy to be damaged. It is subject to heavy wear during use. Therefore, regular maintenance is required. Lubricant is added regularly to increase the bearing life. Generally check once every 2 months of work, and should be replaced immediately when the wear is severe.

4. Sand washing machines that use rolling bearings must always check the bearing seats at both ends of the screw shaft. Pay attention to the reliability of the bearing sealing device. If wear, water seepage, sand soaking, etc. are found, stop the machine immediately, replace the sealing device, and use clean gasoline. Or kerosene carefully clean the bearings. Rolling bearings can generally be filled with oil every 5000 hours.

5. In daily use, pay attention to the noise of the machine at any time; observe the operation and working conditions of the screw shaft, V-belt, sealing device, water pipe and other components at any time; check whether the motor and the gearbox are overheated, and whether the bolts in each part are tightened and many more.

6. The gearbox should be cleaned and changed after 3-6 months of operation, and the bearing seat should be replaced with a new grease (calcium base) every 6-12 months.

7. The electrical equipment of large sand washing equipment must have a reliable grounding device. In addition, the wires should be reliably insulated and housed in snake skin tubes. Always check the motor wiring for wear and leakage to avoid accidents.

8. Seasonal maintenance of sand washing equipment is also very important, mainly to change oil, fuel oil, antifreeze, and increase refrigeration facilities.

9. In the process of using the sand washing machine, there should be specialized technical personnel to take care of it, and the operators need to have certain skills. Before installation of the sand washing machine, the operator must be trained in technical operations to understand the principle and performance of the sand washing machine and be familiar with the operating procedures.

10. When the sand washer is in operation, it is strictly forbidden for anyone to stand next to it, touch the body with your hands, and perform operations such as adjustment, cleaning, and maintenance.

11. Must be equipped with necessary maintenance tools, as well as lubricants and corresponding accessories.

Bearing troubleshooting

The shaft is supported by the bearing to rotate. It is the most heavily loaded part and is a part that is easy to wear.

① Failure check

Check during operation: When the rolling bearing is short of oil, you will hear the sound of "bone and bone"; if you hear a discontinuous sound of "stalks", the bearing steel ring may be broken. Sand and other debris in the bearing or slight wear of the bearing parts will produce a slight noise.

Inspection after disassembly: first check the bearing rolling elements, inner and outer steel rings for damage, rust, scars, etc., then pinch the inner ring of the bearing with your hand to make the bearing flat, and push the outer rigid ring with the other hand. The outer steel rim should rotate smoothly, without vibration and obvious stagnation during rotation, and the outer steel rim does not reverse after stopping. Otherwise, the bearing can no longer be used. Hold the outer ring with your left hand, pinch the inner ring with your right hand, and push it hard in all directions. If you feel loose when you push it, it is seriously worn.


The rust spots on the outer surface of the bearing can be removed with 00 sandpaper, and then washed in gasoline; when the bearing is cracked, the inner and outer rings are cracked or the bearing is excessively worn, the new bearing should be replaced. When replacing a new bearing, use the same bearing as the original model.

Shaft troubleshooting

① Shaft bending

If the bending is not large, it can be repaired by polishing the journal and slip ring. If the bending exceeds 0.2mm, the shaft can be placed under a press and pressurized at the bend. The corrected surface of the shaft is machined with a lathe. Light; if the bend is too large, a new shaft needs to be replaced.

② journal wear

When the journal wear is not great, the journal can be plated with a layer of chrome and then ground to the required size; when there is more wear, it can be welded on the journal and cut on the lathe; if the journal is worn When it is large, it is also turned 2-3mm on the journal, and then a sleeve is placed on the journal while it is hot, and then turned to the required size.
